Bed ‘n Biscuit’s top dog, Melissa Shields, is a pet sitting veteran. She opened Bed n’ Biscuit over a decade ago, in 2000. Over the years, she has supplied lots of love and care to Dallas’ furry faces. Melissa is trained in animal first aid and CPR and is able to administer all types of medications & injections, most at no additional cost. Bed n’ Biscuit is a member of The National Association of Professional Pet Sitters which insures all of our qualified pet sitters.
In 2011, Melissa’s husband, Max, left his corporate job to join Bed n’ Biscuit’s team. He shares his wife’s passion for animals and giving quality care.
The Shields’ proudly support the SPCA of Texas, PawsInTheCity.org and, together with their son Hudson, volunteer their time at Operation Kindness.
